OUR HISTORY
We are proud to be pioneers within the fitness and body building industry in Trinidad and Tobago. Learn about our start and growth, our founder and our involvement in the fitness industry in Trinidad and Tobago.
CLX Gyms was established on July 1, 2011 and opened its doors at the Corner of Eastern Main Road and Caura Road, El Dorado.
Shortly after our opening, we introduced a new line of Hoist Fitness Machines and Equipment. We are the first to introduce this line of gym machines in the country and the official distributor in the English Speaking Caribbean. Soon after, we introduced the Troy Bar Bell fitness equipment to the gym.
On January 1, 2019, we expanded the gyms operations by relocating to larger facility at the Centre of Excellence, Macoya Road and outfitting the gym with new equipment. We were able to grow into a ultra-modern, state-of-the-art, three-story facility.
We are the only three-story gym facility in the East-West corridor of Trinidad and Tobago providing our membership with world-class cardio machines and additional, Cardio Cinema Theatre, Dedicated Spin Room, Aerobic Room, Weight Training Area, Nutrition Bar, and a Supplement, Gears and Apparel Store.
CLX Gyms is proud to be associated with the Trinidad and Tobago Body Building Federation and have played a pivotal role in its development. The gym is responsible for revolutionizing the fitness categories in the TTBBF’s championships with two new categories: Male Physique and Female Swimsuit segments.
This second location features 15,000+ sq. ft, world-class equipment, Full-Size BOXING RING and the hygienic and friendly atmosphere you’ve come to know and love at our Macoya facility.
